Privacy Policy.

Last updated 9 June 2026.

Marketing Doctrine (“Marketing Doctrine,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a product of The Second Click. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use marketingdoctrine.io and the Marketing Doctrine application (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • Account information. Your name, email address, and authentication credentials when you sign up or sign in.
  • Content you create. The brands, clients, doctrines, prompts, and content you generate, edit, and store in the Service.
  • Connection credentials. When you connect a publishing destination (such as WordPress, HubSpot, or LinkedIn), we store the access tokens needed to publish on your behalf. These credentials are encrypted at rest.
  • Billing information. Subscription and payment details are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Usage and device data. Basic log, device, and usage information collected automatically to operate and secure the Service.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Service; to generate content at your request; to publish content to the destinations you connect when you instruct us to; to process payments and manage your subscription; to communicate with you about your account; and to secure the Service and comply with our legal obligations.

AI processing

To generate content, we send the relevant inputs — such as your doctrine, prompts, and related context — to our AI model providers for processing. We use providers under agreements that prohibit using your content to train their models. We do not use your content to train models of our own.

What we don’t do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not generate your images for you, and we do not send email to your marketing lists. Your brand assets and your audience are yours.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run the Service, including cloud hosting and database infrastructure, our payment processor (Stripe), and AI model providers. These providers process information only on our behalf and under contract. When you connect a third-party publishing destination, your use of that destination is also governed by that provider’s own privacy policy.

Publishing connections

When you authorize a connection to a third-party platform, we store the resulting credentials in encrypted form and use them only to perform the publishing actions you initiate. You can disconnect a destination at any time from your settings, which revokes our stored access.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated content, after which we will delete or anonymize your information except where we are required to retain it by law.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, encryption of stored connection credentials, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

International users

We operate in the United States, and your information may be processed there and in other countries where our providers operate. We take steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection wherever it is processed.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you.
